Amazing article describing how it took billions of years for life to evolve and how the rate of change speeds up with time. Extrapolatingto the future he calculates (conservatively) that * We achieve one Human Brain capability $1,000 around the year 2023.
* We achieve one Human Brain capability for one cent around the year 2037.
* We achieve one Human Race capability for $1,000 around the year 2049.
* We achieve one Human Race capability for one cent around the year 2059.
Which just goes to show that NT could be nearly right in that we will be last generation to die.
Also the article goes to show that we the only planet to have intelligent life.

A really cool graph of how design REALLY works. Reminded me of Nick and I installing his new Arke staircase. That is taking constructing it partially and then taking it out etc etc until we got it to fit. Which it did rather well in the end.
