Interesting about the post on the real inventor of the telephone. Tonights talk at Biosoc was given by Nick Franks which he started by explaining who the real inventor of anaesthetics was a Crawford Long not William Morton who got all the publicity.

What a mess!
Here is the window dressing, last Saturday, at the main Boots store in Cambridge, Have you ever seen such a mess? Reminded me of Woolworths before they gave up the ghost, their old store is now a Next.
I wonder what the Boots will become? Maybe Mr Tesco should take it on -given how busy the Sydney Street Sainsbury is.

Promising start to the season..
Its beginning to look good for winter sports in Les Gets, France where my apartment is. Here is the webcam view taken this evening from the tourist office looking towards the apartment.
