Inveterate dabbler in business, travel, gadgets & life

An excellent blog at waxy.org here which gave me this link to a site for re-organising all my MP3’s that I re-discovered this weekend.

Interesting that the idea of ripping CD’s is now filtering down to my more computer illiterate friends. The time must be ripe to offer a ripping service onto a USB hard drive.

And here is a new example of social networking done by upmystreet.com where you can post messages and form a community based on your post code. Came across this snippett about instant crowds “There is this new thing happening in New York, where people arrange to create instant crowds for 10 minutes or so throughout the city. They then leave, with everyone else totally confused why 500 – 600 people are standing around giggling.

Anyone fancy starting some instant crowds in London? Sounds stupid.” posted by Scott W in Hackney E9.

Bet Blair and the UK police would find that really scary!!!

And here is an awesome use of the new camera phone technology where a 15 year old in USA had presence of mind to take piccy of his alleged abductor. Full report here

an excellent article about mobile blogging with a good selection of blog links. interesting about police closing down media centres. This convergence of phones / cameras / and internet is really going to change democracy for the better IMHO
